S_DenK Residence, Germany | Soho Architektur

This family residence, located in a hillside of a small Bavarian village in Denklingen, Germany, enjoys views to the Alps and the valley of the river Lech. 

Designed by Memmingen based Soho Architektur emphasis was given to the optimum use of site land in favor of a large garden. Entrances to the office and the house are located on ground, bas level, while living areas are placed above, with oversized windows opening to the surrounding views of the village an the Alps. A narrow, minimal wooden staircase leads to the bedrooms area in the attic. 

The typical colored and wooden textured facade is a harmonious reference to the local context of the building.
