The office is located within a historically important, early 1900’s restored textile factory. The outcome of the interior design, including furniture, comes with a touch of elegance and respect for the building’s history.
A large main space and smaller offices for the staff members host the business of Belgo Seeds, a company involved in global importing and exporting of agricultural products, especially seeds. Highlighted element that refers to the company’s business is a shelving unit with beautifully lit glass containers of seeds.
Dark timber wall paneling, light oak floors, glass division panels and soft fabrics, create a sensitive dialogue with the restored brick ceiling and cast-iron columns of the preexisting industrial space. Furniture elements are also Vincent Van Duysen’s design, including desks, chairs, storage units, pendant lighting and coffee tables.
