Townhouse am Friedrichswerder, Berlin | Wiewiorra Hopp Schwark Architekten

This townhouse in Berlin - Mitte, completed in 2009 by Berlin based Wiewiorra Hopp Schwark Architekten, is a minimalist residence consisting of living and office spaces in different levels.

Wiewiorra Hopp Schwark Architekten adapted the completed shell of architect Johanne Nalbach and designed the interior spaces of the narrow building as an intangible white space sculpture.

Linear layout, white color and a minimum, restrained use of materials, together with custom designed furniture define the character of all spaces. The result is a place of calmness, clarity combined with functionality.
