Termas de Pedras Salgadas, Portugal | Álvaro Siza

Termas de Pedras Salgadas is a historical Spa building recently renovated by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. Located in Vila Real District in Portugal, Pedras Salgadas is a town famous for its mineral water, Água das Pedras.

The renovated historical building forms part of the redevelopment project of the 20-hectare Parque de Pedras Salgadas, following the establishment of seven eco-homes with minimal impact and two more exclusive cabins that merge with the landscape of centuries-old trees.

Pritzker Prize winner Álvaro Siza Vieira returned to the space from the 19th Century the charisma, elegance and quality of other times.
