Gent based Architect Francisca Hautekeete designed a monumental minimalist villa in Harelbeke, Belgium, entirely built in concrete.
Located along a busy highway, the house has a closed and protected street front elevation and an almost entirely gazed back that opens to the garden and pool. A patio connects the main building and the pool house.
A number of sustainable solutions has been applied, resulting to the house’s energy efficiency and autonomy. The villa is an oasis in a busy industrial setting.
